Payment Terms & Conditions
- Payment
- You accept that you will pay the appropriate fee for the membership, service or event you are wishing to purchase.
- Payments are managed through the Banco Sabadell’s Paycometâ„¢ WooCommerce API. This banking facility gives you 7 minutes to access your online banking app on your mobile device/computer and authorise the payment.
- If this payment process fails then you will not have purchased the membership, service or event and MACCC will not be obligated to provide it.
- A payment failure can occur if
- you take longer than 7 minutes to authorise the payment,
- the credit/debit card details you have entered are incorrect,
- your credit/debit card has expired.
- Your email address
- Your email address is important to us because we use it to communicate with you in regard to the membership, service or event you are now making payment for.
- You agree to provide a valid email address.
- You authorise MACCC to communicate with you, when it is necessary, using this email address.
- You accept that, in the event where you have provided invalid contact details and MACCC needs to communicate with you regarding this purchase, then MACCC will not be held responsible if MACCC cannot fulfil the delivery.
- Cancellation/refund of membership and services
- Cancellation of membership and services are non refundable.
- Cancellation/refund of events
- Cancellation and curtailment of events are permitted solely on the discretion of the provider/organiser.
- The decision will depend on whether MACCC has already made payment a third party or if your cancellation will increase the price other members will, subsequently, need to pay.
- MACCC and/or your fellow members will not subsidise your decision to cancel or curtail your attendance at an event so, if this would be the case, you agree to continue to pay for the event in full.
- Refund, whole or part, is not automatic and not guaranteed.
- Refund will be made or not
- at the discretion of the provider/organiser,
- whether there is any surplus after the event has been fully paid for, and
- following a decision made at a MACCC committee meeting.
- In all instances of disparity, the decision of the MACCC Committee will be final.
