Charitable Activities
Since 2018, following an initiative from John Le Sueur in 2017, MACCC members have been very active in donating funds to a chosen charity. The charity is drawn from a hat at the AGM following nominations from members. During the year we hold raffles at major events and in June we organise a specific charity event, either a bar-be-que or a paella and we thank our members for their generosity.
2023 Charity
The charity for 2023 is Project 4 All. Based in Benissa and Benitachell, Project 4 All deliver hot meals, clothes, blankets, support and friendship to the homeless and those in need on the Costa Blanca. They support in many other ways too, such as help with laundry, taking them home for showers, medical help, rehabilitation, documents, repatriation and housing. Their aim is to provide as much support as they can and not only get them re-housed but continue to support them and integrate them back into society.
