Our Club
The Marina Alta Classic Car Club was formed by Peter Martin and Bertrand Lewinson. Meetings were casual get-togethers in 1998. Over the first few months, interest grew and the first official club rally was in September 1999. So, we regard the club as being formed in 1999. Since then the Club has become the most popular classic car club in the Marina Alta area and is recognized internationally.
The club now has around 125 multi-national members; Belgian, British, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Spanish and others, who enjoy a range of benefits, including monthly meetings for coffee and a chat, monthly rallies across Spain, a 3-day Spring event, a 4 or 5-day Autumn event, and much more.
As in most multi-national gatherings, the common language spoken is English but many of our members are also multi-lingual.
There is a strong social atmosphere within the club, which gives new members the opportunity to make new friends and mix with like-minded enthusiasts and, of course, member’s partners are very welcome.
Your car(s) need to be at least 25 years old. We do also accept younger cars but only if they are a marque with a strong racing heritage, such as Jaguar, Ferrari and Porsche.
We always welcome new members to our club so if you are interested in becoming part of a great community, please join us.
I look forward to meeting you,
Peter Alt
