Charitable Activities

Since 2018, following an initiative from John Le Sueur in 2017, MACCC members have been very active in donating funds to a chosen charity. The charity is drawn from a hat at the AGM following nominations from members. During the year we hold raffles at major events and in October we organise a specific charity event, either a bar-be-que or a paella and we thank our members for their generosity.

2026 Charity

The charity for 2026 is Raquel Payá Denia. Raquel Payá Denia is a school for special children until 21 years of age, where they get special education and activities. The Raquel Payá resource centres provide advice and support to ordinary centres in the educational response and in the transformation processes towards inclusion.
